THE CAMPAIGN
We were commissioned to create a larger-than-life mural of Liam Gallagher, capturing the iconic Mancunian in his signature Stone Island jacket. This was a special one, and luckily we had the perfect wall already in out portfolio – an iconic spot right next to Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium – a fitting tribute given Liam’s love for the club. With a figure as legendary as Liam, we knew the execution had to be spot on. The mural had to be flawless, a true reflection of his attitude in the heart of his hometown.

Lead artist Peter Barber made sure Liam’s likeness was spot on and the mural quickly became a Manchester landmark, as fans admired the incredible detail. All over social media, people made references to the singer ‘taking over’ the city. The mural was also featured in the Manchester Evening News, and Stone Island shared the video on their TikTok – racking up 287k views and counting. A true Wonderwall moment, this project cemented Liam’s legacy right outside his favourite club’s home.
